Kennedy Luxury Group (formerly Emerald Group Investments) and LOEWE are pleased to announce the opening of Australia’s first LOEWE store in Melbourne.
Located in Melbourne’s Chadstone shopping precinct and designed by LOEWE’s Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson, the opening of CASA LOEWE marks the debut of the Spanish house’s newly designed concept store on local soil.
Spanning 130sqm, the spacious boutique features stucco walls and polished Capri limestone flooring, creating a chic, modern vibe while simultaneously paying homage to the brands European heritage.
Fans of the renowned Spanish house will recognise the agate stone slab that stretches over the entrance, a reinterpretation of the emerald green canopy that was first designed by famed architect Javier Carvajal in 1959 for the flagship store in Madrid. The gleaming black Marquina marble on the façade and the travertine tiles echo the theme of understated luxury.
Inside, the interior of LOEWE Melbourne is just as elegant. Designed to look like a real home, the boutique features walnut-toned display tables and wool carpets that come together to create an intimate atmosphere. Little details such as brass accents in the furnishings complete the contemporary look of the store.
A curated selection of the brand’s iconic men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories products are featured in the new store.
Jonathan Anderson, LOEWE Creative Director says: “I’m very proud of this first project in Australia. Ever since I joined LOEWE I have wanted the brand to compete on a global scale as one of the best international luxury fashion brands. The opening of this space in Melbourne is a great step towards this.”
