As the 2017 Intrust Super Shute Shield shapes up for another successful season, Bang & Olufsen is pleased to sign on once more as a broadcast sponsor.
The sponsorship will see Bang & Olufsen secure exclusive naming rights for the 2017 Finals Series, thereby continuing their support of club rugby at a grassroots level.
“As we enter our second year as a broadcast sponsor, Bang & Olufsen is proud to contribute towards the continued success of this important sporting series,” said Brian Man, Managing Director – Audio & Technology, Kennedy Luxury Group (formerly Emerald Group Investments).
Since moving to 7TWO in 2015, the broadcast ensures the once very proud Sydney Rugby Union can stand on its own financially and commercially.
Broadcast rights holder and Director Club Rugby TV Nick Fordham reinforced the importance the of partnership with Bang & Olufsen, saying “Without sponsors our broadcast is not possible and without a broadcast every club would not be in the position they are in to add significant value to current sponsors and attract new ones.”
In 2017 the Intrust Super Shute Shield will be broadcast LIVE into NSW on 7TWO and 7Prime, delayed broadcast on 7TWO into Queensland and LIVE into New Zealand on the Rugby Channel as the curtain raiser for Super Rugby.
